Blending together European electronics with the sounds of the Middle East and beyond, Gal Kadan is raising questions about borders and opportunities in a globalised world. It's a representation of his homeland, Israel - a consistent tension between future and past, love and war, east and west.
Recently moving to Berlin, for the last decade Gal has been playing at Tel Aviv's top venues Alphabet and Breakfast Club and held a residency at the Palestinian/Israeli co-owned Anna Loulou Bar. He also toured Europe extensively playing gigs with the likes of Acid Arab, Shadi Khries, Carrot Green, Zozo and Hard Fist records.
Today Gal continues to stretch the boundaries of multiculturalism in his studio work, using music to question politics, identities and borders in the modern European life of constant migration and round the clock partying.
